Adventure Kayak and  Paddle Board Tours

  Most of our adventure tours last approximately two hours depending on the weather and wind conditions.

Adventure Tours include:

  • All paddle equipment

  • Experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly guide

Things to Bring:

  • Wear clothes that can get wet including water shoes

  • Sunscreen, hat

  • water bottle

  AOP runs our adventure tours on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. You can book online by visiting our Touring Schedule or click on any of the Book Now buttons.  You can request a specific tour on the date/time you want in advance by calling 352-217-5012. 

Do you have your own equipment and want to paddle with us You can join any of our existing tours for a discounted price! If bringing your own equipment, please call 352-217-5012 to make your reservation.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made before 48 hours scheduled tour time will receive a FULL refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours will receive 50% refund. Cancellations made day of scheduled tour will be charged full tour price.

This enchanting canal is lined with century old cypress trees majestically draped in Spanish moss.  This waterway connects Lake Dora with Lake Eustis which is home to countless herons, egrets, anhingas, cormorants, osprey, fish, and turtles.

Everything you love about the Dora Canal, now with a little bit extra! Come paddle our famous Dora Canal that connects Lake Dora with Lake Eustis. After your paddle, you will get a flight of beer/wine at our local BRÜ Taphouse that serves 30 different craft taps and a variety of fruit wines. A perfect way to end a great day paddling! (Must be 21 yrs or older to do the tasting)

Come explore a hidden gem on the shores of Lake Norris. This tour brings the adventure seeker meandering through a century old forest of dwarf cypress trees that elegantly entwine the dark waters providing a fantasy land experience. These magical trees also provide an ideal nesting habitat to numerous birds of prey in the area. (tour dependent on water levels; Kayaks only)

Known for its fishing tournaments, Lake Harris is a popular waterway in Lake County.  Join us on a nature-filled tour around Hickory Point through a hidden scenic canal lined with cypress trees and abundant wildlife such as egrets, herons, ospreys, turtles and the occasional local owl.

One of the largest artesian springs in the world, Silver Springs produces approximately 500 million gallons of fresh water every day. The spring was one of Florida's first tourist attractions. Paddle with us through the crystal clear waters among the abundant fish, birds, turtles, and monkeys! Yes we said monkeys...groups of wild rhesus monkeys call the Silver River home.

We are pleased to be working with Jones Brother's & CO to offer this unique tour combining air and sea! For those who have a passion for outdoor activities, take off from Lake Dora to take in the Harris Chain of Lakes from the air on a 15-20 minute seaplane flight. Then, land on Lake Eustis where your kayak or paddleboard will be waiting for a one-hour paddle back to Tavares through the beautiful Dora Canal.
